Gender neutral editorial
The brief: Creating a gender-neutral editorial for the ASOS brand magazine for the Generation Z consumer.
The outcome: an athleisure shoot with a diverse cast of models of different races, body types and genders to celebrate diversity. We chose an athleisure theme for the shoot because this is a trend that is popular with people of all gender identities. We contrasted this with a sports hall background as sport is often very rigid in the separation between male and female.
For the styling, we mixed clothing from the men's and the women's sections within every outfit showing the ASOS audience they could shop from whichever section to create outfits that relate to their own gender identity.
